Rum, acid, lime cordial, sugar, falernum

Its origin is not exactly clear, but the daiquiri became famous thanks to Ernest Hemingway, who was served the cocktail in Cuba. The daiquiri belongs to the sour family. Our recipe is not entirely classic, as we also use a part of dark rum and a dash of falernum. The white rum, which is also the main ingredient of the cocktail, comes from Labat. ED's Rum is the in-house blend and is blended from 3 different rums by Pascal Kälin.

Tasting notes:
Sweet, sour and spicy in balanced proportions, just like a classic sour should be.

Serving suggestion:
True to our concept, the Daiquiri can be poured over ice in a tumbler, but traditionally it comes to the table in a cocktail bowl. Garnished with a lime wedge or zest.
